Monthly Networking Event Celebrated Dr. Nasiek’s 10-year Anniversary of His First Book on PRP

On Thursday, June 15th, Dr. Dariusz Nasiek, a pain management specialist from Allied Neurology Interventional Pain Practice, PC, hosted his monthly networking event. Attorneys, physicians, chiropractors, and medical professionals gathered for this special occasion. We celebrated Dr. Nasiek’s 10-year anniversary of the publication of his first book titled “PRP Platelets Rich Plasma- A New Paradigm of Regenerative Medicine”. The seminar took place at the Royal Warsaw Restaurant in Elmwood Park, NJ, and was made possible by our sponsor, Hudson Regional Hospital.

During the event, Steven Dale spoke on behalf of Hudson Regional Hospital, a medical facility located in Secaucus, New Jersey. HRH is a full-service, acute-care hospital serving Northern New Jersey. Their mission is to build a healthier community through exceptional care, sophisticated technology, and knowledgeable physicians. At Hudson Regional Hospital, they promise to provide top-notch care for their community. They are enthusiastic about the future as they continue to integrate new ideas and improve the HRH facility.

Sean Barresi presented on WIRX Pharmacy, a mail order pharmacy that caters to the prescription needs of injured workers. WIRX Pharmacy operates independently and is not affiliated with any insurance or managed care companies. They are committed to working closely with their clients and physicians to ensure uninterrupted prescriptions during the course of their care. With excellent communication and expedited service, WIRX Pharmacy provides exceptional customer service. Pharmacy managers are always available to address any questions.

Dr. Nasiek’s first presentation focused on the impact of documented Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) on the value of legal cases. Documented TBI can significantly influence the value of a legal case. When a person experiences a TBI due to the negligence or wrongdoing of another party, they may be entitled to compensation for their injuries, medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering, and other damages. The extent of the TBI and its documented effects play a crucial role in determining the case’s value. Dr. Nasiek shared a specific case to illustrate this point. Initially, after consulting with a patient, he suspected there was nothing wrong and that the patient might be seeking drugs. However, instead of making assumptions, he followed the TBI Protocol, as Allied Neurology is a Center of Excellence. The patient’s MRI initially showed no abnormalities, but her EEG revealed seizure activity. Case solved! Fortunately, Dr. Nasiek was her physician and took the necessary steps to ensure she received appropriate treatment, enabling her to lead a normal, happy life.

Furthermore, Dr. Nasiek provided a tutorial on the new trend called Chat GPT. Chat GPT is a language model developed by OpenAI, based on the GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) architecture, particularly GPT-3.5. It aims to generate human-like responses and engage in conversational interactions with users. Chat GPT utilizes a deep neural network trained on a vast corpus of text from the internet, allowing it to learn patterns, grammar, and context across various topics and languages.

The model takes user input prompts or messages and generates relevant responses based on the provided context. By combining statistical patterns and learned knowledge, it produces coherent and contextually appropriate replies. The goal of Chat GPT and similar language models is to provide useful and informative responses, engage in conversation, and assist with a wide range of tasks such as answering questions, providing explanations, giving recommendations, and more. AI won’t replace your job; it’s a tool that individuals can use. Do you currently use AI?

The evening was truly enjoyable for all attendees! Guests relished the delicious food, had ample networking opportunities, and engaged in discussions about medical-legal matters with their peers.

Mark your calendars for the next meeting, scheduled for Thursday, July 20th, at 7 PM. It will be held at the same location, The Royal Warsaw. We extend a heartfelt thank you to Hudson Regional Hospital for sponsoring this highly successful event. Additionally, we express our gratitude to all our friends, contributors, and professional family members for their invaluable support in making these events such resounding successes.
