Dr. Dariusz Nasiek Highlights Mission to Eradicate Untreated Traumatic Brain Injury at Hackensack Presentation.

HACKENSACK, N.J. (February 19, 2026) — On February 18, 2026Dr. Dariusz Nasiek presented at the Hackensack office of Dario, Albert, Metz, Canda, Concannon & Ortiz where he shared the clinical and public-health mission of Allied Neurology & Interventional Pain Practiceto identify, treat, and ultimately eradicate the silent epidemic of untreated Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).

Dr. Nasiek emphasized that many patients leave accidents believing they are “fine,” only to experience lingering neurological symptoms that go unrecognized for months—or even years. Allied Neurology’s mission is built on the conviction that early recognition and timely intervention can significantly change outcomes, especially for patients with mild to moderate TBI whose injuries may not be immediately obvious.

A central message of the presentation was that vigilance is everyone’s responsibility—including physicians, therapists, attorneys, family members, and caregivers. Symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, memory lapses, mood changes, and chronic fatigue can be signs of TBI, yet are often not connected back to a prior injury. Allied Neurology works to educate the community and clinical partners to look beyond the obvious because early diagnosis is the first and most powerful step toward recovery.

To support that goal, Allied Neurology & Interventional Pain Practice offers a comprehensive diagnostic program to detect even the most elusive presentations of TBI. Evaluation may include a detailed neurologic assessment and a structured questionnaire; advanced imaging, such as MRI and, when indicated, DTI MRI, to assess brain microstructure; EEG studies to evaluate electrical activity; and neurocognitive testing to measure real-world effects on memory, attention, and executive function. When appropriate, psychiatric and psychological assessments are incorporated to identify emotional and behavioral sequelae, including depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress.

Diagnosis is only the beginning. Allied Neurology’s integrated care model delivers individualized treatment addressing the physical, cognitive, and emotional dimensions of TBI. Therapies may include targeted medications (for sleep, inflammation, and cognitive performance), vestibular and balance rehabilitationcognitive therapy, and interventional procedures such as nerve blocks or stellate ganglion block for persistent pain and autonomic dysfunction. Care plans evolve through continuous monitoring and collaboration among neurologists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and rehabilitation specialists, coordinated within a single system of care.

Allied Neurology & Interventional Pain Practice views TBI care as both a medical duty and a broader mission: through education, screening, and coordinated treatment, no brain injury should remain undetected—and no patient should face recovery alone.
