Our special guest speaker was Dr. Peter L. Smith from Hudson Regional Hospital. Dr. Smith has been actively practicing medicine for over 40 years, graduating from the University of Notre Dame in 1983. He pursued his medical education requirements and served as Chief Resident of Diagnostic Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital in 1991. The following year, he completed his fellowship in Vascular/Angiography at Massachusetts General Hospital. Since 1999, he has worked at various medical facilities in the northeast, gaining experience in Radiology and Angiography. Dr. Smith is dedicated to his patients, continuously seeking more innovative and effective treatment methods. During the event, he spoke about fibroid embolization, a procedure he specializes in at Hudson Regional Hospital, which is considered an effective alternative to surgical treatments for uterine fibroids.
Dr. Nasiek shared insights on Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), a topic close to his heart due to its severe and tragic consequences and high prevalence among patients involved in accidents and traumatic events. He highlighted his practice, Allied Neurology, as a center of excellence for evaluating patients with TBI. Additionally, Dr. Nasiek introduced the AI Mastery program, a pioneering educational initiative designed to immerse participants in the world of artificial intelligence. Whether individuals are new to the field or seeking to deepen their understanding, the AI Mastery Program welcomes participants from all backgrounds. Through engaging lectures, hands-on workshops, and curated books, participants will gain deep insights into AI technology and its transformative potential.
